Rebellion international believes that data protection should be open, transparent, and customer-friendly. Under “personal data”, we understand data that refers to an identified or identifiable person. Under “processing”, we understand any dealing with personal data, regardless of the resources and procedures used, particularly the acquisition, storage, use, altering, sharing, archiving, or destruction of personal data.

We are committing ourselves, particularly by way of data protection law, to the protection of the private sphere of our customers according to applicable legislation. For this purpose, we have taken numerous precautionary measures, such as technical and organisational safety measures (e.g. the use of firewalls, personal passwords and encryption and authentication technologies, access restrictions, awareness raising and training of our co-workers, appointment of data protection consultants).

Status of the data privacy statement

The present data privacy statement was last updated in October 2020. It generally stipulates the personal data processing performed by us. The present data privacy statement is not an integral part of the agreement between us and our customers. We reserve the right to adjust this data privacy statement from time to time.

DATA PROTECTION ON OUR WEBSITES

General

The information included here amends our data privacy statement regarding the websites of the company Rebellion international (hereinafter: “Websites”).

When you visit our Websites, our web server automatically registers the details of your visit (e.g. your IP address, the website that you have arrived from and the website that you are currently viewing, including the date and duration of your visit).  Tracking data is used for the optimisation of the offer on our Websites and it provides information on how you are obtaining information about our products and services and how you are using it. However, tracking data, as a rule, does not permit any inference regarding your identity; no personal data is processed in this context.
